In 2005, I moved my sister to Magnolia Estates in Elberton following a stroke. Although she had suffered no paralysis or mental disability, she did have aphasia, which affected her ability to communicate effectively. Since she had lived alone, our family felt it was in her best interest to have her in an environment which would guarantee freedom from the everyday tasks which demand clear speech and quick reaction.

In 2007, I moved my 98 year old mother to Magnolia.  In both cases, I have been amazed at the degree of professional care. The entire staff embodies characteristics of love, understanding, and personal interest in the lives of all the residents.

The facilities, food, and, attention to individual needs are excellent. Having to leave your home can be emotionally and physically traumatic, but coming to a facility like Magnolia Estates is transition at its best.

Family and friends are always welcome and can enjoy the beautiful surroundings and can leave knowing that their loved ones are in excellent hands.
