Magnolia Estates Assisted Living had its beginning in Elberton in 1983. Betty Rampey, President of Magnolia Estates, Inc., started the corporation at its present location, 68 College Avenue.

This turn of the century antebellum home was built in the mid 1890's and was originally the W.O. Jones estate. It is characterized by its massive white columns, spacious living and dining areas and beautiful antique furnishings.
