Magnolia Estates had its beginning in Elberton in 1983. Betty Rampey, President of Magnolia Estates, Inc., started the corporation at its present location, 68 College Avenue.

This turn of the century antebellum home was built in the mid 1890's and was originally the W.O. Jones estate. It is charcterized by its massive white columns, spacious living and dining areas and beautiful antique furnishings.

Magnolia Estates of Elberton has accomodations for 50 residents. All rooms are private and each is furnished and has a private bath.
